Do you feel drained at the end of a workday? Does it feel like you just can't get into a rhythm in your work? Are you frustrated that you have so much more to give at your job, but you just don't know how? This book club will focus on discovering your strengths and learning how to apply them in your professional life in order to experience more flow at work. Flow is the feeling of being so absorbed in an activity that time seems to pass freely and you're able to achieve a deep state of focus and productivity. Knowing what our natural strengths and talents gives you insight into what gives you--and drains you--of energy at work. When we are able to do what we do best at work each day, we go home feeling energized and fulfilled.  We will begin with the book "Essentialism" by Greg McKeon. We'll start with this book for two main reasons: 1. The philosophy of CliftonStrengths is that when you focus on your strengths, you are more likely to be successful. In other words, it better to concentrate on the few things you are really good at, than try to be good at everything. 2. It is very difficult to get into a flow state when we are trying to do too much at once. Essentialism enables you to say yes to a few things and no to everything else, allowing you to focus on meaningful growth in those areas. Please join this *FREE* bookclub to go deeper on your natural strengths and get into a flow at work! *Please note, it is recommended that you take--or have taken--the CliftonStrengths assessment for this book club. It is not required, but it will help you have a clear understanding and language of your strengths.
